How to play a choose-your-own-adventure story with AI
Adventures turns your idea into a story you play. Paige is the game master: she writes each scene in prose, offers choices or takes your own move, and can add a picture and narration to every scene. Play story-style or tabletop-style with dice, then save a good run into your book as a chapter.
Step by step
- 1
Start a new adventure
Go to Adventures and start a new one. Answer "What is this adventure about?" in one line.
- 2
Choose who you are
Under "Who are you in it?", give your character a name and, if you like, a short description.
- 3
Pick how it plays
Story: choices and consequences, no dice, best for romance, mystery and drama. Tabletop: dice, a character sheet and combat, like a solo D&D campaign.
- 4
Pick the look and sound
Choose an art style and a narrator voice.
- 5
Review your world
Paige drafts your world. Edit anything you want, then step in.
- 6
Play
Tap one of the Choices, or type your own action. Turn narration and pictures on or off from the top bar.
- 7
Keep the good parts
Use "Save turns as a chapter" to put a run into your book.
Story or Tabletop?
Story mode is for character-driven play: romance, mystery, drama. Your choices steer the plot and there are no rolls. Tabletop mode adds dice, a character sheet and combat, for dungeon crawls and campaigns you play solo.
Either way, Paige never decides what your character does. She sets the scene and waits for your move.
