How does per-seat billing work?
You pay one subscription with a quantity equal to your seat count. Add or remove seats anytime from Settings — Stripe prorates the difference automatically.
What does each seat get?
Every seat gets its own full allowance — higher message and image limits than Ultra, audiobook generation, Story Bible, and every other feature. Limits are per person, not shared across the team.
Can teammates see each other’s work?
No. Each seat is a private workspace. Business gives your team top-tier access on one invoice — it does not share manuscripts between accounts.
What if a teammate already has their own subscription?
They’ll be asked to cancel their personal plan before accepting the seat, so they aren’t billed twice.
Is there a minimum?
Two seats. For a single writer, Ultra is the better fit.
Can the team use Edit Mode?
Yes. Every seat gets 75 edit passes a day — tracked-changes suggestions, prose notes, and metrics on any chapter. Agencies use it to polish client manuscripts in-house before delivery, so the first thing a client sees is already a clean draft.
