Daily goal
1,667 words a day. Set it once.
That is 50,000 words over 30 days. Set it as your daily goal and today’s bar fills as you write. The last two weeks sit underneath, so you can see a slow day before it turns into a slow week.
Streaks
Miss a day. Keep the streak.
Every seven days in a row earns you a rest day, and you can bank two. When life gets in the way, a rest day covers it and your streak carries on.
- MondayGoal met. A 12-day streak.
- Tuesday, no writingA rest day is spent. The streak holds at 12.
- WednesdayBack at it. A 13-day streak.
Finish date
See the day you type THE END.
Set your book’s target to 50,000 words. After a few days of writing, Paige works out your pace and shows the date you’ll get there. Reach 50,000 words in November and you earn the November Novelist badge.
Paige remembers
Day 25 remembers day 2.
Paige keeps a Story Bible of your characters, places and plot as you write, and a “Story so far” recap of the whole book. Come back after a missed weekend and she knows where you stopped.

Questions
Is this NaNoWriMo?
No. WriteWithPaige has no connection to NaNoWriMo or any challenge organizer. It is a writing app with a daily word goal, streaks and a finish date, and you can use it for your own November novel.
How many words a day is 50,000 in November?
1,667 a day gets you there in 30 days. Starting late? Divide what is left by the days you have, and set that as your goal. You can change it any day.
Do Paige’s words count toward my goal?
Your daily count includes what you type and the drafts from Paige you keep in your manuscript. The panel shows how many came from Paige, so you can track a typed-only number if that is your rule.
What happens if I miss a day?
Every seven days in a row earns a rest day, and you can bank two. Miss a day and one is spent, so the streak keeps going.
Can I bring in what I already wrote?
Yes. Import a Word file, PDF, EPUB or text file. It is split into chapters, and Paige can build your Story Bible from it.
Is it free?
Free to start. The daily goal, streaks, finish date and Story Bible come with every plan, including Free.
